Thanks to a generous donation from Dr. and Abby Ekmark, we have the honor of celebrating the life and legacy of Rudy (Bumblebee) Alejos and spreading safety awareness.
At three years old, Rudy was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). On August 16, 2011, the apartment Rudy lived in with his mother caught fire. Rudy’s mother did all she could to save him, but her efforts were not successful.
Rudy’s story does not end here. On the 10th anniversary of his passing, we present to you The ABC’s of Safety, Rudy’s Legacy-Campaign and Contest.
Rudy’s Safety Campaign honors the life and legacy of Rudy (Bumblebee) Alejos.
