Education is Key.

At Any Baby Can we see many illnesses and tragedies that, we believe, could have been prevented with education.  This is why we have prevention educators on staff to train families on many practices such as safe sleeping, safe car-riding, soothing fussy babies.  

We believe our prevention education services will help prevent death by suffocation, car accident deaths and death or serious injury by shaken baby “syndrome” which we all know isn’t a syndrome at all – but child abuse.  Please review our programs provided below.

“KISS” Keeping Infants Sleeping Safely

Program dedicated to educating parents and grandparents on the risk factors of co-bedding.

Audience: Parents to Be (3rd Trimester), Parents with Newborn, Teen Parents

Never, NEVER, Shake a Baby!

This is a public awareness campaign which educates caregivers of the dangers and consequences of violently shaking a baby.

Audience: Middle/High School Students, Parents, Teen Parents, Child Care Workers, Babysitters, Adult Detention, Juvenile Detention

Future Care

Program that addresses behaviors among future parents, which can put tomorrow’s children at risk for prematurity, illness, disability and death.

Audience: High School Students, Adult Detention, Juvenile Detention

Fussy Baby Clinic

This program teaches techniques to calm and soothe a crying baby.  This class demonstrates infant massage therapy and discusses the benefits.

Audience: Mothers with a 4-12 week old infant

Car Seat Safety

This program provides information to families about the safety seat laws for Texas and education on how to properly install a child safety seat.

Audience: Parents with a newborn or child up to 8 years old and/or under 4’9”
