Any Body Can – Health and Wellness
The overall goal of Any Body Can’s continuing education courses is to provide instruction and understanding on how to work with individuals with unique learning abilities in an exercise setting. There is a need for a program that helps support health and wellness personnel on how to work with this population so that action can be taken against rising obesity rates among individuals with a developmental disability. The use of support strategies for learning is crucial for individuals with developmental disabilities because they process visual and auditory information more readily. After the completion of this course, you will learn how to effectively implement exercise routines for individuals with developmental disabilities. This is a course certified by National Strength and Conditioning Association – NSCA 0.6 CEU Hours and The American College of Sports Medicine – ACSM 6 CEU Hours.
