Fundraising is such an important part of the Walk for Autism! The donations that are made either through Teams or individual donations make a huge difference in the lives of families facing autism. *Please note: Registration Fee does NOT apply towards fundraising total.

Behavior Consultation

  • To provide a family raising a child with autism assistance in addressing their child’s behaviors through consultation services provided by a certified special education teacher and behavior analyst over the course of 5 one hour in-home meetings.
  • Targeted behaviors may include:
    • Non-compliance
    • Escape and or attention seeking behaviors
    • Behaviors that limit effective interaction within the family setting
    • Parents will receive visual strategies to promote skill acquisition and develop positive behaviors. Materials will include behavior supports from Blue Cat PIES.

($550 Value) *Child must carry a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and be between the ages of 2 to 14 years

Communication Skills

  • To provide a family raising a child with autism direct support and management to develop identified communication skills through consultation services provided by a certified special education teacher, behavior analyst and speech therapist over the course of 5 one hour in-home sessions meetings.
  • Targeted communication skills will be determined through an informal communication skills questionnaire.
  • Services will include individualized visual teaching materials and Blue Cat PIES interactive activities.
    ($550 Value) *Child must carry a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and be between the ages of 2 to 14 years

Social Skills

  • To provide a family raising a child with autism assistance in developing social skills through consultation services provided by a certified special education teacher and behavior analyst over the course of 5 one hour in-home meetings.
  • Targeted socials skills will be determined through an informal social skills survey.
  • Services will include individualized visual teaching materials and Blue Cat PIES interactive activities.
    ($550 Value) *Child must carry a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder and be between the ages of 2 to 14 years

  • $65 – allows a parent to attend a Parent Social Night
  • $35 – provides a family with an autism parent tool box
