In May of 2003, the first annual Jon’s Run/Stroll was organized to benefit Any Baby Can’s Center for Infant and Child Loss. Jon Carl Stephenson died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome on April 25, 2002 and is the inspiration for this benefit run. Although this event has Jon’s name, it honors all children whose lives ended too soon from any cause. The goal of The Center is to walk with the bereaved parents, family members and friends as they journey to find hope, strength and the courage to face one day at a time.
